Young people today are growing up in a world filled with pressure, uncertainty, and exposure to conflict both online and offline. Without proper guidance, this can lead to frustration, anger, and in some cases, involvement in violence or harmful behaviors. The question is not whether youth are affected — it is how we respond.
At CAPA, we believe prevention starts with empowerment. When young people are given the tools to manage emotions, resolve conflict, and think critically, they are less likely to be drawn into violence. Peace education is not just theory — it is a practical life skill that shapes how future leaders think and act.
If we fail to invest in youth now, we risk creating a cycle of conflict that continues into the next generation. But if we equip them properly, we create a generation that values dialogue over destruction and unity over division.
